I
am a researcher and clinical psychologist working on violence issues in
the lives of children. Specifically, I devote myself to:
violence research focusing on children;
creating measures to study children's exposure
to violence and its effects;
evaluating interventions for children exposed to violence; and
developing intervention programs for school-age
and preschool-age children exposed to violence and their mothers.
I have constructed this Web site in response to many requests for information
and assistance. It presents the bulk of my work on family violence and answers
many common questions about it and about my availability. I hope that you
will find assistance in obtaining information concerning journal articles,
research measures, book chapters, intervention program training manuals
and information about training opportunities at this site.
